When I met Carolyn Long 20 years ago, she was a professor at Clark County’s new four-year university with local responsibility for Washington State University Vancouver’s Foley Institute community lectures. I was invited to serve on the citizen advisory and planning committee. What struck me about this young woman was her respect for others and their opinions and beliefs.
This and her continued service to this community make her the kind of person District 3 needs to stand for it in the United States House of Representatives. She is definitely the kind of person I want to represent me.
